    A computer or tablet with website connectivity is required. IEC can provide all technical supplies.

  • Certification validity

    Certifications are valid for five years.

  1. Submit your request early

    Contact IEC FWCC as early as possible before your certification course or exam date. Email director@iecflorida.org or call 727-499-0727 and ask for Natasha Sherwood.

  2. Tell us what you need

    When contacting IEC, please provide:

    • Your full name.
    • The course or certification you are taking.
    • A brief explanation of the accommodation you are requesting.
    • Supporting documentation, if available.

    No specific format is required—just share what you need so we can best support you.

  3. IEC reviews your request

    IEC FWCC will review your request promptly, consult with you to clarify any details, and determine appropriate accommodations based on your request and the course requirements.

  4. Receive confirmation

    IEC FWCC will confirm approved accommodations with you before the class or exam. Our aim is to ensure every participant has the tools and support needed to succeed.
