Management

Effective Leadership Skills for Construction Field Leaders

This course focuses on educating field leaders and enhances the skills required to complete projects successfully. Learn the cost of doing business and how those costs affect both large and small projects. Gain leadership qualities that earn respect and improve professionalism. Details: 10 days for 4 hours per day. Designed for the field supervisor that needs the skills required to move to the next level of management, 50 CEU hours.

First Aid/CPR/AED Safety Certification

This course could help you save a life, minimize injury or handle biological emergencies in a proper manner. This fact based class is completed in 5 hours and gives the attendee the information needed to handle many emergencies that may occur on the jobsite, at home or other public place. OSHA 10 and 30 Safety Training and Card

This industry recognized safety training helps attendees enhance safety practices on the jobsite as well as the safety performance of the construction team. Each attendee receives a nationally recognized credential card upon completion. Take OSHA 10 and receive a quick overview of job site safety, take OSHA 30 to get more in depth safety training.

Work Ready Program

This quick start orientation helps electrical workers with an overview of jobsite safety, identification of common electrical devices, basic pipe bending and wire pulling skills and basic installation techniques for common switches, receptacles and lamps. Details: 2 days for 16 hours, 16 Continuing Education Units for attendance and participation. These classes are open to anyone that needs to improve their knowledge and skill.

 

Journeyman License Exam Prep Course

This class prepares attendees to take the Journeyman Exam. Complete practice tests designed to check your knowledge, boost your confidence and improve your performance when taking the real exam. Details: Classroom style for 24 Continuing Education Units. This course adds value to anyone planning to take or qualified to take the Electrical Contractors Exam

Fire Alarm and Burglar Alarm Installation

This course provides information on Fire Alarm installation. Review functions of fire alarms, types, control panels, wiring and circuits, inspecting and testing, codes, devices and termination. Details: 8-10 day course, 4 hours per day., 32-40 CEU’s Course requires basic knowledge of wiring methods and meters. Course CEU’s based on class hours completed.
